Hi everyone, terribly sorry about the lack of posts around here. I have come down with a terrible virus, 6 days it's been with me now and it hasn't let up. Truly hope I don't get anything like this again...

Couldn't have been worse timing either with mid semester assessment tomorrow. I have been seriously impaired and as much as I'd like to get stuck in... I just can't move.

But! On a much brighter, promising and extremely happier note... I am an Aunty! (Kind of). My family is teeny tiny so I'm snatching this title up. My cousin and his lovely partner have just welcomed the arrival of their beautiful boy Benson. He truly is the most adorable bundle and I can't wait to watch him grow. Congratulations again Chris and Sue!

Winter Garden

Oh, Sunday. You are always my favourite day. This Sunday James and I had a wee outing to the Winter Gardens near the Auckland Museum. It was the perfect thing to do on such a soggy day and the green houses are so warm and the light is uplifting.

The photos are for my next uni project: screen printing. And I'm already 2 weeks behind. Bleh.

Tunes

I thought I'd share what I'm listening to at the moment, a wee duo from Sydney, siblings Angus and Julia Stone. They are a mix of folk/acoustic/blues and I am really enjoying the drums and harmonica, along with their fantastic dreamy voices. If you already know 'em, awesome and if not have a listen!

Necklace Tutorial

I stumbled across this awesome necklace and clicked on it hoping to get a better look at it so I could hopefully recreate it. Surprise, surprise it was from a blog, Ecab that had a tutorial to make it! I can't imagine finding the time to actually complete such a task, but it sure is nice to look.

Also, while browsing through the rest of the site I spotted this amazing Peanut-butter chocolate mousse cake! Ah... I die.
