Hellooooo Summer!

Walking to work this morning I realized just how warm it was, summer is definitely coming and it feels wonderful. Not so much for James however as he just got back from a boys trip to the beach and is bright red and in lots of pain, poor boy. I'm going to try my best to avoid a sunburn this summer I swear. Right now I am enjoying wearing skirts and dresses without being unbearably hot and uncomfortable. I love reading blogs, however most of the ones I read are in the northern hemisphere and are frolicking around their autumn landscapes making me long for scarves and boots.

Apart from working I haven't really got a clue what to do with my time. It's strange not having assignments and artworks to get finished. I'm hoping to a few trips out of the city. L xo

Girls Night

Last night my two dear friends Juliette and Miri came over and we embarked on one of the biggest girls night I have ever had. Pizza was eaten, lollies were scoffed, there were glitter tattoos, cat stickers and feathers in our hair. Face masks were applied, interesting ones at that. Miri pulled off the Choco-mask and I got a freaky one that heated on application...weird but nice. And then we fell asleep watching Grey Gardens. Seriously one of the best nights I've had in a long time, I am looking forward to summer with these girls!

At Last...

I have some time to catch up with everything, house work, pampering, movies, books and blogging. Feeling good...

Heres a wee ice coffee I made.

Some awesome nail polishes that Kate got for me. I'm wearing the blue in the above photo. Right now I have on the Nail Foundation which looks lovely on its own, but is a seriously good base coat. They are by Butter London, Alexander Wang uses their polish for all his runway shows.

Here's a view of my dressing table which holds all my stuff. I wanted to show off the lovely new mirror Nicola and Ben got me for my birthday (larger), it goes perfectly with the smaller one I already had, a perfect pair :) Spot the Frankie Diary Miriam got me!

I know it's not really soup weather any more, but I am seriously loving Continental's Vegiful Potato and Leek. Holy moly its thick and the perfect snack.

And finally, I am currently listening to the 500 Days of Summer Soundtrack. I love it waaay more than the movie.
